My birds nest went completely white during my move. Is this mean its dead or just really not happy? Two days ago it was green and happy in the other tank. PS. I know the move was quick. And tank might not have been fully cycled.

It is "bleached" polyps are not dead, the zooxanthellea algae are.

Watching corals die is like watching money fly out the window. Sure makes me think about a fish only tank. But that'd be too easy.

There is definitely a chance of it coming back. Are the lights in the tank it is in now, stronger than the lights that were on the tank that it was in?

I went from a finnex ray led to a T5 four bulb set up. I'm not going to be able to get perms on tank until I can get back from vacation next Wednesday. I learned alot about drastic changes in light lately and moved the birds nest to the bottom on the tank and put a couple down in the sump with my old led light on them.

If it was bleached, by moving it down lower, it may start to get brown (that's a good thing) let it fill back out, then slowly move it where you want it
