I'm growing corals fast as I can , i would to to see a local network of reefers built for supporting each other.
Swap stock , emergency housing of stock, help set up tanks, for when several people and resources are needed.
I have met new people in reeding and enjoy swapping information ideas or even help when the need arises.
But our local networking is lacking, I believe some good ole elbow grease and some help showing up when needed would go a long way and inspire them to chip in and help someone else. Myself jerrod and Charles had a mini frag swap and a day at the saltwater store that was a blast. We got to visit most of the day, if one of them were to need a hand I would help anyway I can, muscle, trailer ,house livestock, frags whatever. A little local help , eyes over your shoulder helping you avoid pitfalls , swapping ideas is invaluable in this hobby. But meeting and greeting , helping move a tank , run pipe ,whatever is what will help us get the word out and use this board to assist them having somewhere to find us when they hear about what we do as local reefers and have a place to be found when we as individuals role up our sleeves to help the guy or gal at the LFS.

Cthulhu and slingblade, looks like you guys have some planning to do, maybe Greg at JFC would be willing to host or if anyone would like to open the doors to there home and host the first MRS frag swap!?
