So first of all I need my screen name changed. I typed that in the wrong spot. I meant to put the screen name SlingBlade.
Anyway I will get links and pics up later. I been reefing for 3 years. I have a 250 gallon deep dimension I been putting together for 6 months. Excited to see a mississippi forum and can't wait to contribute all I can to make it grow.

rundown of my system..
250 gallon marine land Deep Dimension tank, custom diybuilt stand and canopy. Lighting is 4 radions plus a 4 t5ho retro fit kit. circulations is 4 MP40wes.. Re-Circulation is provided by two sicce 3.o pumps.. 60 gallon custom sump, nothing fancy just a bubble trap. deltec ap702 skimmer plummed direct to the drain of the tank.. right now over half the water goes straight into the skimmer.. i have media reactor and i run rox.8 i refuse to use gfo Algae Scrubber (diy) for 6 cubes of food a day. Geo 612 calcium reactor, reef fanatic gauges and solenoid works awesome most everything is controlled by a reef keeper RKE.. i have control panel (diy) for seperate pump/skimmer/fan control..
The system is going to be dominated by sps and chalices.. its only a few months old so nothing special as of yet.. my ideal parameters to get this job done will be .03 phosphate, 1 ppm nitrate, 450 calcium, 7.8 Alk, 1400 magnesium. trace elements will be taken care of via water change and calcium reactor.
The system automatically tops of evaporated water, it also changes water automatically.
it changes 2 gallons of water per day. and i use esv salt..
still working out the bugs on the whole system but i think once dialed in it will be awesome..
my plan for nutrient export and control is a multipronged approach. First of all from day one i used prodibio bio digest bacterial inoculations, i also use red sea no3po4x carbon source for carbon dosing, and along with this i use amino supplements.. the idea is i introduce good bacteria, i then feed it with carbon and then use an amino to further encourage bacterial growth. the bacteria feeds the coral and its skimmed out.. the bacteria eats the nitrate and phosphates and then the bacteria is skimmed out or eaten by the coral. Along with this method i am using an Algae scrubber to further control algae growth and help eat up some phos and nitrates.. Also the scrubber mesh serves as a place for bacterial growth..
and on a side note.. my clowns laid eggs today..
would love any critiques or questions on this..
