Maybe? Not sure tho, just had my frogspawn sting my candycanes and almost killed 2 heads, be cautious is the safest route

Most of the time polyps will be ok. Reason is because they have the ability to close and protect themselves. They can survive freshwater this way also, as well as being outnof water.
If the polyp stay closed to long then thy could die from lack of light and food. So if the polyp closed due to the frogspawn although that may not kill it, if it keeps the polyps closed long enough it could die.
